This weekend, speaking to the Telegraph, the Prime Minister announced his plans to carry out a review of low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) and promised drivers he is on their side, keeping costs low for families and whilst we all want improved air quality, local people must be in the driving seat.
Commenting, Sherrie said, ‘The majority of the country are dependent on their cars for work, to take their children to school and to see family. I am pleased that the Prime Minister has ordered a review into low traffic neighbourhoods. It is assuring that our Government is seeking to tackle the concerns of drivers and has recognised the impact LTNs have on traffic displacement and access to local businesses.’
