''Wow, I mean WOW! What an incredible experience with incredible people on a Herts' Police Lates Drive Along.
It was deeply insightful and at times very intense and what struck me most was the pure dedication and kindness that drove all the police officers - even against adversity the officers were positive and held people's safety as their top priority.
I got home after 3am but didn't go to bed for at least another hour, retelling the incredibly varied highs and lows I experienced in just one shift. Imagine this as your everyday job!
I was truly in the company of brave, huge hearted heroes.
It was an absolute honour to join Hertfordshire Police on a ride along and I would highly recommend it to others.
I am still buzzing and absolutely blown away by the experience, incredible and at the same time humbling.
